Hola! Can you help me w/ Enviromental Eng. homework. Thanks!!! Don't understand to do the procedure for determining the concentration of total suspended solids. Can you verify if I'm doing the procedure correct.

Weight of Suspended Solids = Saucer Weight + Filter + Suspended Solids - Saucer Weight + Dry Filter = 156.9342 g - 156.8812 g = 0.053 g

I calculated the concentration of suspended solids:

TSS (mg/L) = (Weight of Suspended Solids (g) / Sample Volume (L)) x 40 x 1000 = (0.053 g / 0.025 L) x 40 x 1000 = 2120 mg/L

The concentration of total suspended solids in the sample is 2120 mg/L.
