Hoot Spa imports coconut oil from his home town in Jamaica. He uses this oil to produce two kinds of tanning creme: Sear and Char. The price per kilogram at which he will be able to sell these products depends on how much of each he produces. In particular, if Hoot produces x, kilograms of Sear and x, kilograms of Char, he will be able to sell all he produces at the following prices (in dollars): price per kilogram of Sear = 120 - x, and price per kilogram of Char = 150 - 2x, The cost of manufacturing x, kilograms of Sear and x, kilograms of Char is: cost of manufacturing the two cremes = 1.2x, + 16.8x, + 1.3x,X, Assuming that he can sell all he produces, Hoot wishes to determine how many kilograms of each creme he should schedule for production so as to maximize his profit
