Practice completing an RFP or Request for Proposal for a client (individual assignment).Using the online catering menu at Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver's website, please type out the menu items you would recommend for this client meeting, including what the food is and the cost of each item. Calculate a total showing the overall cost, which includes 5 parts:

1) the menu items

2) 5% GST on the menu items

3) 18% service charge on the menu items (tip)

4) 5% GST on the service charge (Yes there is GST on tips in catering!)

5) Total all charges for a final cost at the bottom.

You can choose whatever you think the client would like, based on this request (which is a typical f&b request for a meeting). Note: I recommend looking at the a la carte section on page 8 of the menu. Don't quote an overly high priced suggestion to a client or they may choose a different hotel.
