How can i respond to this post using the bible and references provided?

In the field of professionals, there are many relationships that are held sacred and protected. Such as relationships with clergy, medical professionals, mental professionals, and spouses. Relationships with medical and mental professionals are stipulated and monitored by state and federal agencies. I perceived the most common ethical dilemmas which are encountered by mental health professionals is a product of their own prejudices and experiences. Breach of confidentiality is probably the most common ethical dilemma encountered by mental health professionals. This dilemma presents itself from the very first encounter between the clinician and the patient. "The therapeutic alliance, or the relationship between the client and counselor, is an essential component of therapy" (Steven & Smith, 2017, pg.170). The bond the clinician creates with the patient, provides the patient with the sense of privacy and discretion. Even with the clinician notifying the patient off the limits of the privacy act governing the clinician and patients relationship, eventually the patient will divulge condemning information which the clinician must report. "With confession and repentance, the battle is waged and mind tricks begin in earnest" (May, 2009, pg.64). Thus honesty is mandatory to facilitate a successful recovery. Yet honesty is also a double edged sword in recovery. Honesty will mandate a mental health professional to notify the appropriate authorities of any and all medical, mental and criminal information that is pertinent to the saving of human lives. This will break the bond between the question and the patient, which may destroy the recovery of the patient and commence relapse.

Although there are ethical provisions set in place by agencies, as a mental health professional our ultimate goal is the well-being and care for our patient who has entrusted us with their life. I would search to implement buffer zones with the communication with the client. As it is said it takes a village to raise a child, this must be implemented to help a patient recover from their addiction. Thus, I believe the process requires multiple professionals and individuals to help facilitate the recovery process our patient. If the trust and bond between a clinician and a patient is destroyed, then the patient will become helpless and resort to prior addiction induced activities.
