MY SWOT

One of the most important strengths in my company is they are very open to employee feedback. Once a week we provide feedback on any changes that might have occurred during the week. Management will sometimes take our feedback into account and changes might occur. I believe that the ability to help our patients find resources within our community is another good strength to have. Our patients are normally jobless and homeless, so they look to us for assistance. I believe that the biggest weakness within my organization is pay. Pay plays a huge role in morale. In my organization we used have a program where we would earn; points and they were considered bonuses. The company decided to do away with this program and our moral dropped almost immediately. The other weakness I truly believe we have is the inability to promote at a higher pay. People really do not like to promote for the following reasons. There is not a significate change in pay although the responsibilities are so much more. As an internal candidate the pay increase is about 10% and as in external candidate the pay is almost double. The third weakness that I can see is the lack of services that my organization offers the patients. The company is does not have the staff to follow up with our patients as promised. There are many different opportunities in my company. The biggest opportunity we have is tuition reimbursement. We all the opportunity to continue our education and promote to senior level positions. It would be a great opportunity if we be able to suggest on the current process we have in place. I believe this is a great opportunity to open the communication between employer and employee. There are many threats within our organization. The organization faces the problem of losing our patients due to high turnover. Our patients have behavior health issues and they do not like change, and sine we have high turnover they seem to get new case managers all time. These weaknesses are threatening the quality of patient care. Another threat that our company faces is that many of our care workers have left to work for our competitors. Our competitor offers better pay, benefits, and less work. I am sure that management is aware of all these threats. The organization should start to focus on the payer and the employees to get the best possible relationship between the two.
