How can Variability be used in real-life situations?

My answer

A situation in my life where I took into account variability was when I needed to go to the hospital. There are two hospitals nearby where I live, St. Mary Medical Center and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. In Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, it takes a longer time to be seen by a doctor, but it has an inside Pharmacy. As for St. Mary Medical Center, it is a little bit faster to be seen by a doctor, but there is not a pharmacy nearby, which is not convenient because you only want to go home and rest.
