I see that Gross National Product (GNP) = GDP (which is Consumption + Investment + Govt. Purchases + Nett exports) + Nett income received from abroad by residents of the nation.

What would count as "Nett income received from abroad by residents of the nation? Earnings on foreign investments? Foreign earnings on Amagre investment?

Please help in this regard.
