My name is Willie Morgan born in Atlanta Georgia but I am currently living in North Carolina with my wife and four children. I was born and raised by a single mother through a lot of struggles at a time when being a single mother was not so fashionable. I am in active military duty working as an equipment maintenance engineer warrant officer. I joined the military about 18 years ago by chance and I think this is the best decision I ever made in my life. Through the military I have amassed a lot of experience-I have been to in and out of the United States.

After completing this program, I will still remain in the military for at least the next 12 years after which I would like to venture into the corporate world where I would like to work as a supply chain and transportation specialist. First off, this course is a requirement for my degree completion-part of reason why I am taking it. In addition, I also find the knowledge therein useful to my future career as a specialist in transportation and supply chain management. Intermodal transportation is huge in transportation business and hence knowledge in it will come in handy in my future career.

My hobbies are travelling, playing indoor games and also playing and watching football. Travelling makes me see new places and rejuvenate my spirit.

Looking at my course objectives, one of them is to be able to explain the relationship between transport, energy and environment. Since I would like to become a supply chain and transportation management specialist, this objective is quite relevant to my career because it will allow me understand how transport affects energy use and the environment and be able to make the right kind of decisions. This is more the case in a world that is increasingly looking for clean energy use and sustainable transportation activities.
