How have you used reflection as a way of gaining new insights?

My position is Support Engineer and I support the people in the field for 7 years. Imagine yourself me and answer the above question. You can anything is related, small sentences are enough.

Person-1:

Actually, reflection make me understand what is working what is not, and how I can change my thinking so the situations around me will change. Day after day, I realized that I'm my own mentor and u can take care of my self, my family and people close to me.

I gained new insights by recording the important notes an ideas that assisting me in may daily life, also in my work, sometimes I do that with my teammates specially when we are working in complicated projects, we used to do brainstorming and arrive to best ideas and solutions specially if we want to implement new operation cycle in our financesystem.

Person-2:

Reflection is gaining new insights, so when we take time to reflect, we discover new ideas, find new ways of looking at a situation and we become more aware of ourselves.

Reflection also linked to learning from experience, we think about what we did, and what happened, and decide from that what we would do differently next time.
