Outbound Process Flow: When a customer's order is placed, a set of associates called "Pickers" pull the customer's order from the shelves and place the items on a cart. After all of the items in the customer's order have been picked, the order is ready to be placed into shipping boxes. The associates in charge of packing the book orders into the boxes are called Packers". The packers package the books into boxes and transfer them to the Ship team, who will then make sure the packages are placed on trucks for delivery to the customer. The Ship team must make sure all orders are on the right trucks and are heading to the right location before the trucks leave.
