how to reply to this post?In my opinion, this law goes far enough. It clears up when use of deadly force is justified and allows people to understand the circumstances in which it can be used. Although not ideal, this law is necessary as there are many circumstances in which deadly force is the only option. A reasonable office would take into consideration all the information they know and decide whether deadly force is necessary or not. They should assess whether or not the suspect is a threat to themselves or others and also consider if there are other options available to de-escalate the situation. A reasonable citizen should first think about whether or not there is a huge threat to themselves or other and also if their actions would be seen as justifiable under the law. They must also consider the potential consequences that might follow to using deadly force, as it can harm people around them too
