Since the restaurant is understaffed, Otis should have been filling in where help was needed instead of yelling at his employees to work faster and more efficiently. Thirdly, Otis should have been more in touch with making sure his employees were taking breaks when needed so that they could keep working efficiently. He also should not have singled marge out multiple times and ignored her when she was supposed to leave at her agreed upon time. How many of these problems could be explained by compensation issues?
