Higher purpose, stakeholder integration, conscious leadership, and conscious culture and management. The four are interconnected and mutually reinforcing. The tenets are foundational; they are not tactics or strategies. They represent the essential elements of an integrated business philosophy that must be understood holistically to be effectively manifested. Higher purpose and core values are central to a conscious business and all the other tenets connect back to these foundational ideas (Schawbel 2017).

Conscious capitalism focuses on people and the environment. Business leaders who practice the philosophy recognize that principal stakeholders need to be more involved and respected in business decisions. In many cases, though, principal stakeholders might be customers who do not have representation at business meetings. Conscious Capitalismleaders find ways to honor the voices of their stakeholderfrom investors tocustomerswhen making business decisions. They also consider community and environmental impact (GCU 2020).

Conscious leadership: With this leadership, organizations can bring value for all the stakeholders and consider their interests, requirements. Such leadership brings transformative role of a leader and that helps team members to bring out best out of them. With Stakeholder orientation, it brings sufficient value for all the stakeholders and is more directly connected with the organization. If stakeholders are engaged in effective way, we can drive out healthy business. With Conscious culture we as businesses could include traditional practices, organizational values and various underlying principles. With such presence of culture, stakeholders get connected to each other. With Higher purpose long term sustainability is more present. If the purpose is clearly defined and accepted by all associated stakeholders, in such situation, organization could get strong engagement of all the associated stakeholders.

My current organization needs some work around conscious leadership and overall being more intentional. I think that we are headed in a good direction but it will take time for it to become second nature as we are always changing when it comes to working with people and the community at large. There are more trainings being implemented on bringing value to those in the field of social work and developing them which I believe is right along the lines of Concsious Leadership improvements.
