how to subtract value from dictionary?

if i have dictionary :

{'a' : 'red' , {'b': 5.59 , 'c' : 20}}

and I want to substract by 2 from 'c',

so output would be:

{'a' : 'red' , {'b': 5.59 , 'c' : 18}}

using python.
