Even as someone that is in the beginning stages of starting my career, I have been told to be weary of such situations. So I would consider it common not normal. I would decline the sexual advancement. I don't mind working hard and honestly for my success or my career. Honestly, I don't feel that this could've been avoided other than declining to attend. It is normal to be invited out by co-workers. My intentions would have been to network and make connections. After experiencing such an experience, I would know how to move in the future. Only attend public outings with co-workers, all colleague relations must be approached platonically, and to keep my distance if I can
