The method of scheduling appointments and reminders with the dentist at my nearby dental practice is one that l have decided to use. As most people are aware, individuals receive a teeth cleaning service every six months. There are times when you go through that procedure and need to be continuously reminded that you have an appointment. Because my cleaning appointments were so. distant in the future, I myself had forgotten when they were, which is why i chose this process. Having said that, I was only reminded of my appointment the day before, which caused problems with my predetermined plans for which i wish I had been better prepared. Additionally, \"Automated appointment reminders play a key role in improving patient engagement\" (Providertech 2020). l think l would have a better favorable experience at my dental practice if they had an improved system because it would demonstrate that they care about me and that I receive my treatment. 1. The system must promptly email the patient an appointment confirmation immediately after it's been made. 2. Patients must be given options from a list of reminder choices provided by the system. 3. Following the six months prior to the appointment, the system must send out monthly reminders. 4. The system must provide patients with the choice to reschedule/cancel the appointment date 3 months prior to the set appointment date
