Systems Thinking is a process of understanding how things influence one another within a whole. A way in which enable us to understand the world a little better is with the four levels of thinking:

1. Events - things that happen around the world
2. Patterns - changes in variables that occur over time
3. System Structures - are used to analyse what is causing the issue or the pattern that is consistent.
4. Mental Models - this is what keeps the structure in its place and allows it to keep doing what it is doing.
