Human trafficking goes hand in hand with modern slavery. The International Labour Organization (ILO) estimated in 2022 that 3.3 million children are being exploited and sex trafficking and labor trafficking at any given moment. Most of the countries with the highest corruption rates gravitate towards the top of the list with regards to human trafficking and slavery. What actions should be taken in your opinion to reverse course on this significant global health issue? Should first would nations consider this in their economic development plans? Can it be stopped?
