On Play and A Playful Attitude -

o Think of the people you know who are serious all the time. Write down as many words as you can to describe these people.

o Think of the people you know who have a playful attitude, but are still competent, responsible, etc. Write down as many words as you can to describe these people.

o How will learning to become a more playful person help develop your sense of humor?

o Describe the benefits you would receive from becoming a more playful person.

o Catch other people in the act of being playful. Be on the lookout for playfulness in adults. Keep a tab of the number of examples you spot each day.

Work and Play -

o Do you have fun at work? What would it take to make your job fun? Answer both in terms of changes in yourself and change in your work environment.

o How does terminal seriousness set you up for greater stress on the job and in life generally?
