The total stator losses in the machine are 0.8kW and friction & windage losses together are 1.5kW. The operating power factor of the machine is 0.82 lagging. Calculate slip, Air Gap power, Mechanical power developed, Efficiency and Stator current. Suggest how to reduce stator current drawn by the motor from above calculations. (10Marks)
