I actually really enjoy watching ted talks and I watch them frequently. I've actually seen this one before and remember thinking about what she said. She mentioned how important body language is and how people can sometimes fixate on it. I agree with her when she says that I can make a big difference in a conversation. Body language can also show if you are enjoying the conversation or the company that you are surrounded by. I feel like the tone of voice and body language plays hand and hand with one another. I think that's one of the reasons why I find texting so annoying. It has caused a lot of conflicts in the past because people misinterpret the message. A simple "okay" can come off sounding like an attitude and dryness. When you put emojis next to the text it acts like body language or tone of voice. Eye contact is a particularly significant kind of nonverbal communication because it is the most common sensory preference for most people. The way you stare at someone can convey a variety of emotions, such as attraction, intrigue, or hate. It is a reflection of the employee's disposition, zeal, disposition, and personality at work. Physical actions can sometimes convey more information than words, and the messages they convey can influence how we interact with others. The environment we are in must be taken into consideration when changing our body language. Nonverbal communication, in contrast to spoken or written communication, is not a true language. Particular nonverbal clues are often vulnerable to interpretation (or misinterpretation) by others. Therefore be cautious when interpreting these potentially risky body language signals. People are less prone to take you seriously if your body language provides confusing messages. Body language connects with people both consciously and unconsciously. Miscommunication is considerably more likely as a result. Fragmented communication is very harmful to running the company successfully.
