KCSE expects to procuce and sell 2.300 bicycles per month in the coming year, The bicycles sell for 1610 esch. An outs de centractor makes an offer to assemble KCSB's bicycles and the them directly to XCSD's cuntomets as orders are received from its sales force. It will charge KCS8 5170 pe bicycle. KCSE would provide the materials for each bicycle, but the outside contractor would assemble, box, and thio them. If kcsi accepts the offec its variable manufacturing cout would be reduced by 40%, and its variable nonmanufacturing costs wovld be cut by 60%, in addition, it wolld be able to save 311,340 of fixed mansfacturing costs fixed nonmanufacturing costs woild be unchanged. KCsp's marketing and production managers think that the lide resourcos could be used to preduce and sell as mere moterised bicycles, each wah an estimated 3750 contribution margin and no additional fixed costs. REQUTRED [Note: Round unit cost computations to the nearest cent] What is the difference in KCsb's menthly costs between accepting the proposal and rejecting the preporain (Note: If the costs of accepting the proposal are ieus than the costs of rejecting ic, enter the diffecence as a positive number; if the accept costs are more than the reject costs, enter the diference as a negative fimiber.)
