I am a graduate student in Business College, I have a graduation project on Starbucks.

The idea of the project

The idea of the project is that we are looking for what are the problems of Starbucks and how to conduct an economic, legal, technical and technological feasibility study to find appropriate solutions to solve the company's problem.

Especially that the company's biggest problem is the division of labor in the sense that there is a problem that the number of employees in Starbucks branches are unable to cope with a large number From customers, which causes severe overcrowding, which affects the easy spread of diseases and epidemics among customers, so we have found many solutions such as using a robot that prepares orders for customers or a preparation machine from which the customer can easily make an order from himself without the need for a barista and pays through Visa and other thingsSolutions that aim to reduce pressure on the staff.

There are also many problems such as:

1- Most of the Starbucks branches are too narrow and do not accommodate a large number of customers.

2- The tables are very close to each other, which causes a lot of inconvenience and noise when crowded and other that it is not very for customer privacy.

3- There are no modern cleaning tools capable of containing and cleaning any place when any situation occurs in an easy and quick way.

4- There is no designated entrance to enter the materials used inside the branch and they are entered through, the main door and this is completely inappropriate.

These problems were noticed by us during our visit and the many observations we made throughout the year, as well as the meetings we had with Starbucks managers in such specialization as human resources, marketing, operations and strategies, as well as meetings with its competitors such as Dunkin' Donuts

Therefore, we decided to choose a suitable place to open a project similar to Starbucks, but with our ideas and implementation, to do enough work by avoiding all the problems that we noticed in Starbucks branches.

This will provide this place a large space to be able to contain a very large number of customers and also to allocate a certain part to groups and part for students who come for study and other actions that give good feedback about our company. The branch will be located on an area of 250 meters in the city of Chicago.

In addition, we use the technology mentioned above in our company.
