I hypothesize that the relationship between religious commitment and shame will be influenced by sexual activeness, whether a person is having non-marital sex.

Null hypothesis = Religious commitment is related to shame.

H1: Religiously committed individuals who engage in non-marital sex will experience shame.

H2: Religiously committed individuals who engage in non-marital sex will experience more shame than individuals who are not religiously committed.
