I am furthering my education to keep myself relevant in an ever-changing career field as well as learning new things to enhance my abilities. Education is a lifelong endeavor, and I will continue to learn and grow long after I complete this degree track. I expect to have a better understanding of finance as it relates to business and specifically how finance affects business decisions. I also invest on my own. I began investing about 4 years ago and ever since I have read a few books along the way to learn as much as I can. Four years ago I had no clue what Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio was or what role intrinsic value played in valuating companies to invest in.
