Is there a different way I can reword my response to better answer the questions? Also, I was not sure how to answer the last question and needed some assistance on that as well.

• Research Question: The mean of vaccinated patients that have recovered from COVID experienced more memory loss than the mean ofpatients who did not receive the vaccine.

The correct Ho (null hypothesis) and Ha (Alternative or research hypothesis) to represent your research question. Include the Ho and Ha here. Why does the Ho always have an equal sign?

• Null Hypothesis: Mean vaccinated patients memory loss = mean unvaccinated patients
• Alternative Hypothesis: Mean vaccinated patients memory loss > mean unvaccinated patients

Suppose you perform the hypothesis test and determine that your p value is NOT less than your alpha value. Given this, give the full conclusion for your research question (assume alpha is .05).

• My p value is .35 and is not greater than my alpha value of .05 which means that there is no evidence that supports patients who have received the vaccine experienced more memory loss compared to patients who have not received the vaccine.

If you incorrectly reject your null hypothesis, what error type would this be and in words what error would you be making in your conclusions?
