I am struggling with this assignment in terms of understanding what it is I'm suppose to be applying to my paper in regards to the tech industry, which I've had to go between several different mainstream products that are currently in a tough spot since the pandemic, namely microchips that go into current generation game systems such as Microsofts Xbox Series X and Sony's PlayStation 5 systems, among other things such as current generation graphics cards which recently released.

I am writing a report regarding the current status of the federal budget and fiscal policies in place in the United States. In my essay i need to explain how the current status of the federal budget and fiscal policy will impact the tech industry over the next 2 years, using economic theory to support the conclusions as i go, which is part of my issue in understanding.

I need to address current policy and how it will impact the tech industry, based on theory

• expansionary and contractionary fiscal policy,
• fiscal policies used to close a recessionary gap and an expansionary gap, and
• the rationale for budget deficits.

I've already begun writing my paper, but I'm stuck on these 3 topics in regards to the tech industry.
