I am trying to finish research paper about the relationship between trade and carbon emissions. Specifically, I am measuring trade volume (calculated by adding import and export value in USD) and total carbon emissions, using those two factors to calculate carbon intensity of trade (carbon emissions per metric ton/trade volume). I am specifically looking at the members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations for this research. How can I use this data to show a relationship between carbon emissions and trade? How can I enhance this research paper?
