I am very stuck on this problem as I am not really understanding how I am suppose to prove something is independent.

For, (a) and (b) I assumed it will be not independent if the probability is not the same as P(A) = P (B) to be independent.

For, (c) I looked up online what will happen when you add two binomial distribution, and that was the equation I got. However, when I plug in values for N, k and p, the

values doesn't seem to make any sense.

Could you please help me out figuring out why my answers are correct or wrong?
