I chose the observation method to gather data as it provides me with firsthand insight and information about the job being analyzed. By observing, I can examine the work environment, tools and equipment used, the relationships between workers, and the complexity of the job (Juneja, n.d.). On the other hand, the interview method will allow me to gather an employee's thoughts on their own job and the responsibilities it entails.
