I conducted a survey with 140 participants about the Covid-19 vaccination. One of the questions they were asked was, "How safe do you think vaccines are on a scale of 1-10: 1 not safe to 10 completely safe (scale).

My research Question: "Is there a relationship between vaccine safety rating and vaccination status?" My hypothesis:

Null: There is no relationship between vaccine safety rating and vaccination status. Alternate: There is a relationship between vaccination safety rating and vaccination status.

Can you tell me the appropriate test I need to run to test my hypothesis? And explain why?
