I do engage $"$in$-$flight intimacy". This was surprising to me because I usually am not social and don't converse deeply with total strangers. I believe this has to be connected with judgment, embarrassment, and sharing something you may have in common. I think I engage because I know I may not be judged or I know its judgment by a person that I won't see again. Another possibility, I won't get hurt by someone I don't know, they have no credible claim because they don't know me$,$ and "they probably aren't even going to remember anyways". Another possibility is to out$-$share our experiences. I have always been a nosey person, I would always think I knew everything. Going back to a few weeks ago, people want to talk and be heard, and some people want or need to listen. Who wants to sit in silence?
