Objectives During this experiment, students will:
Measure the specific gravity (relative density) and API gravity of petroleum products using hydrometers.
Measure the density of petroleum products using a digital density meter.
Perform corrections for the observed specific and API gravities
Measure and calculate the viscosity of petroleum products
Study the effect of temperature on the kinematic viscosity of the petroleum products

: 1- Purpose of the Experiment: Summarize the objectives in a form of paragraph using your own words.
2- Planned Procedure: Summarize the steps of the procedure and mention if there's any hazardous chemicals and the disposal of it.
3- Changes to the planned procedure: Mention any changes that were made while performing the lab. If there's no changes, then you need to write down that no changes were made and the procedure was performed according to the instructions sheet.
