4-What variables will be in your study? What type of variable are they (ordinal, nominal, discrete, continuous, etc.)?
I am going to use the ordinal variables (rankings, orders, or scaling). Since I measure the satisfaction of a customer, I will use the Likert scale for instance.
7-What type of sampling method will you use? Justify your choice and cite a reference supporting your decision.
Non-probability sampling technique which involves non-random selection based on convenience. Out from the population I am gathering randomly to see the result. this is according to S. McCombes, 2019.
8-What 2 types of graphs that you have learned about are the most appropriate for your data? Justify your statement and cite a reference supporting your decision.
*Hint: think about if your data may have outliers, is quantitative, is categorical vs interval, etc.
In this section I can use Random Utility Theory by Domencich and McFadden (1975). It assumes that the probability of choice of a product is the sum of a systematic part and random error part. Random Utility Theory provides the mathematical basis for relating the probability of shoppers' choice of a product to product attributes. In addition, I can also have the Rational Behavior Theory of Ben-Akiva and Lerman 1985. It can also be applied in such a way that customer choose a shop that maximizes the utility
What 8 descriptive statistics that you have learned about are the most appropriate for your data? Justify your statement and cite a reference supporting your decision.
