I got this question wrong and I do not understand why. Please help.

Which one has larger kinetic energy: a 500-kg object moving at 40m/s or a 1100-kg object moving at 20m/s?

I said both have the same kinetic energy, but my teacher says the object weighing at 500 kg. Can you please explain why?
