I was asked to write the word or best phrase that completes each statement.

You want to store 1000 J of energy in an ideal spring when it is compressed by only .025m. What should the force constant (spring constant) of this spring?

My teacher says the answer is 3/2x10^6 m/m . Can you explain why?
