i have a case study! You are in charge of a group of 3 to 4yr old children in the outdoor play area when one of your children kicks his ball over the fence. He starts crying because the ball is new and he wasn't allowed to bring it to daycare so his mum will be angry if he loses it. You only have a small group of children so you decide to jump the fence and collect the ball. You were not gone for more than one minute and you could see the group the whole time. A short time later another educator comes out to the yard to relieve you and says that the Nominated Supervisor wishes to see you in her office. She found out that you jumped the fence to retrieve the ball and asks you to explain your actions.
What is the ethical dilemma in this scenario?
