I have a project where I need to measure the quantity of sugar( glucose) in juice using HPLC with only a UV/VIS detector.

I am using Pre column Derivatization.

Help me understand how to prepare the solutions that I will need. Where do I start and how do I do the math?

How many standards do I need and how do I make them? How do I do the math?
