I have a question on 4.9.2 Project Performance Task: The Subway Stop. For question #32 it asks to identify the highest-cost material for each component and calculate the associated cost. I chose pyramid and my surface area is 7,243.36 ft^2. The highest cost for structural rods is bronze at $6.00/ft and total price $70,839.36, and Quantity = 3800 = 11,806.56 in length. My question is do I use my surface area of 7,243.36 ft^2, or the given length of 11,806.56 ft, or something else? Do I need to square my surface area to get the length? I am confused. Thanks for any help.
