I have been a part of a new system implementation before where we used the phased conversion of cardiac monitoring from Philips to GE system, and the transition was smooth, though a few challenges were faced. This is a system implementation method where parts of the old system are replaced one by one. The system designers were able to offer training on the new system as per department during the implementation; hence, most employees were conversant with the new system. The system IT provided detailed documentation in case of changes that may arise later and for a proper understanding of the system.
