Whether you grew up on a farm or in the city; everyone has that one cereal that once put a smile on their face. Regardless if you ate cereal for breakfast, lunch or dinner, it was life changing. A bowl of cereal is an essential part of breakfast because it's quickly assessable and has its personal benefits. If you were to go into your local supermarket, you would most likely see an entire aisle donated to cereal. There is a target market for every cereal consumer due to its vast selections of flavors and price variations. Our research will dive deep into the nutritional content of several cereal brands and explains how its ingredients affect its price. Our main research question is, How much does weather influence the cost of cereal? Climate Change directly affects cereal crops and will significantly increase the price of foods. While compelling this project, wedemonstrate Saint Leo University's core value of excellence by following all of the six of Saint Leo's core values. Saint Leo's core values are: excellence, respect, community, personal development, responsible stewardship, and integrity. Even though we are all from different walks of life, beingresponsible human beings andgiving this project our all made us set the standard of excellence. When understood respecting each other's time was very important but also communicated any issues we were having. We displayed integrity by completing assigned task on time, exceeding expectations before deadlines. By using teamwork, it allowed us to form a sense of community and also helped with our personal development because we learned to trust and work with others. Lastly, Saint Leo's mission will be fulfilled by optimizing and displaying all of this research information to our community which is an example of responsible stewardship.
