Explain the means of how a witness is shown to be "competent" to testify to help the defendant? I can't use any outside resources, only my textbook and the attached article called "Best evidence rule" by Cornell Law School. please indicate any pages you find in the textbook that you refer to. I will see how this measure up to my answers I have completed.
