I have to calculate the door hangar for the airplane of senior design project.
The height door is 52 ft, width is 34 ft, thickness is 10 ft, density of steel door is 502 lbs/ft^3. (there are hinges at mid height door)
Need someone help me to calculate:
1) force at each axis of rotation (hinges)
2) calculate moment required to open the hangar door
