I. Introduction Every year on Dec. 31, the day before the New Year begins, the amount of firework displays, sales, and usage increase drastically. It gives light to the eyes of people and brings joy in the superstition that \"it drives evil spirits away\" and \"brings luck to our families\". But that is not the case for everyone because fireworks are very volatile in nature, thus may also cause serious injury. For years now, New Year's day has given hospitals numerous toxic accounts of obliterated fingers and 3rd degree burns. And it has come to a time that people should be educated and practiced to truly know how to make safety precautions a part of their New Year's celebrations. The purpose of this research is to give people an idea the dangers of not taking precautions when dealing with fireworks and to educate people by means of showing results of how and what can happen. To give an insight on the summary of the research, the researchers will use tables that will show the correlation between the variables of how such accidents may happen, this will give a deeper understanding and knowledge about taking in consideration to practice safety precautions when dealing with fireworks. This research aims to spread awareness about thinking twice before buying fireworks and hopefully progress in developing safer alternatives that is more child friendly and even more ecologically. The researchers will present tables to further concretize the facts and information attained for a more efficient way of understanding the contents and results of the research II. Result There was a total of 298 victims that suffered from accidents occurring from fireworks on the date of December 31-January 1. These were records were taken by the group of researchers that assembled and were designated in the district hospital. The information and findings was then gathered for easy access and analysis.
