I learned that companies need a sustainability strategy that everyone should be well informed of and execute for an effective implementation. Not everyone understands and supports our current business strategy. This lack of support has challenged the company since we don't engage employees with sustainability goals, and the leadership lacks commitment. I suggest the company reinforce sustainable practices to reduce operating expenses, enhance brand recognition, and increase staff morale and retention. Before moving forward, we should review the company's goals and challenges to identify opportunities to create a successful sustainability strategy. This will allow us to engage the leadership and get their buy$-$in to customize sustainability plans. Then, they can determine what is working and what we can improve on in our sustainability efforts. In today's fast$-$paced and constantly evolving environment, staying current with the newest trends and best practices in sustainability strategy is essential. It is imperative to have employees participate in sustainability forums, attend pertinent conferences, and read trade publications so that they can learn and develop continuously. This engagement with leadership and employees will help us stay on top of our sustainability efforts.
