I like how you were inspired by this story to understand what juvenile go though. I agree that children can change. Xavier came from a rough home life and was caught up in the gang life, and he ended up making a better life for himself. Giving people second chances is capable and I feel as with kids we are young and they have so much more to learn and we should be helping them like you said instead of trying to break them down and make them bad.
