I$\text{'}$m struggling to write the code $($w$/$ comments$)$ for a program to read a set of floating point numbers from a file to calculate the mean, std$.$ dev, median, max, min. The format of the file is one number per line and no stat. functions and packages can be used; only basic python statements $($except "def"$).$
