I need a code written on matalan and the results for it. 4 and 8 connected component in binary image from matlab like rice or vegetables.

this is for a digital imaging cource. you will need to make first convert the image to gray. then you will have to determine the 4 connected component in the image. after that you will need to determine the 8 connected component in the same image. this process will be through matlab code.
