I chose Target as the corporation to identify data security controls. I looked into what would be implemented for (in motion state), and how to do this process. Data in motion state, is data actively moving from one location to another such as across the internet, or a private network. Wherever data is moving, effective data protection measures for in transit data that is often considered less secure while in motion.
