If the toonie falls into the red hole, the player wins $20, and if it falls into one of the 10 blue holes, the player wins $4. If the toonie falls into a black hole, it simply disappears. The person playing the game must use his or her own toonie. At the end of the evening, Sam reports to the manager of the fundraising event that 4500 toonies were tossed onto the table, and he paid back $4600 in prize money, which means that the charity earned $4400 ($9000 - $4600).
